Craig Messingham Reiki

Craig Messingham Reiki
I have had the privilege of being an NHS Reiki Practitioner since 04/2021.
The way I work with Reiki is very flexible and due to my experience in working within a hospital setting I am used to adapting to whatever suits a client best.

Mental Health First Aider

I also have front line emergency service experience having spent seven years as an ambulance service community first responder and have continued working in a similar environment as a member of an event medical team, where I have several roles including welfare lead.

Training & Qualifications
I have training and experience in several "styles" of Reiki and have over the years evolved my own way of working within this wonderful modality
Japanese/Eastern Reiki Shinpiden
(Usui Reiki Ryoho, personal studies and with Frans Stiene International House of Reiki) This is my personal practice and my preferred way of working. It is a deeply personal and empowering way of Reiki and includes extensive daily meditation, contemplation and mantra chanting along with continuing development and studying of Reiki and related philosophies.
Western Reiki Master Teacher & Professional Practitioner
(Usui Shiki Ryoho) I started my Reiki journey in 2003 with my first Reiki 1. This was followed by years of personal practice until I studied levels 1, 2 and master practitioner with the Devon School of Reiki 2016 to 2018.
As I wanted to register with the CNHC for hospital and hospice work I studied CNHC accredited Usui Shiki Ryoho to master teacher and Professional Practitioner with Annie Harrington in 2018.
The Reiki Connection, The Reiki Council & CNHC
I am the Verification Officer for the TRC and and as such one of the representatives on the Reiki Council, and the Reiki Council Verification Committee.
Full member of Complementary Health Professionals.
